Football: Morocco Shares the Points with Brazil at the FIFA World Cup 2026

Our national team secured a 1-1 draw against Brazil in Group C's second matchday of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Facing one of the most successful nations in world football history, the Atlas Lions held their own against the Seleção and earned an important point in the race for qualification.

The match featured two of the leading contenders in Group C, which also includes Scotland and Haiti. With this result, Morocco remains firmly in contention for a place in the next round ahead of the final group-stage matchday.

Played as part of the first FIFA World Cup in history to feature 48 national teams, the encounter was one of the highlights of the competition’s second matchday.

Our national team will return to action on June 19 against Scotland in its third Group C match.
