Fouad MESKOUT elected President of the Arab Wrestling Federation

The Moroccan National Olympic Committee extends its warmest congratulations to Mr. Fouad MESKOUT, member of its Executive Committee, on his election as President of the Arab Wrestling Federation for the 2026–2029 term.

During the Arab Wrestling Union Congress held in Casablanca, the Arab federations unanimously endorsed the Moroccan candidacy. This vote of confidence reflects a career dedicated to sporting excellence and recognized expertise in the management of combat sports, both at the national and international levels.

The presence of the Secretary General and the Director General of the CNOM at this session highlighted the institutional support for this new phase in the governance of Arab sport.

As President of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Associated Wrestling, Mr. Fouad MESKOUT continues to carry the ambitions of Moroccan sport beyond national borders. This election strengthens Morocco’s strategic position within regional sports bodies and confirms the leading role of national expertise in promoting Olympic values across the Arab world.
