The composition of the Moroccan delegation was established in accordance with the participation requirements and quotas set by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the relevant International Federations, based on proposals submitted by the respective Moroccan Royal Federations.

In this context, the MNOC has completed the registration formalities for the Moroccan sports delegation with the Dakar 2026 Organising Committee, in accordance with the procedures and deadlines established for this edition.

In preparation for the Games, the MNOC continues to support young Moroccan athletes, in close coordination with the relevant Moroccan Royal Federations, through a range of measures aimed at optimising their preparation conditions, particularly in terms of medical support, as well as managing the organisational and logistical aspects related to their participation, in accordance with the provisions established by the Dakar 2026 Organising Committee.

This support is provided, in particular, within the framework of the agreements concluded with the Moroccan Royal Federations under the JIL programme, which aims to support and assist young Moroccan athletes with high potential in their preparation for major international sporting events.

Morocco’s participation in Dakar 2026 thus forms part of the continued efforts undertaken by the MNOC and the Moroccan Royal Federations to foster the emergence of new generations of athletes and support their progression towards the highest level of international sport.
