In collaboration with the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, the Royal Moroccan Federation of Urban Sports and Similar Disciplines organized, from April 1 to 4, 2026 in Mohammedia, a Level 1 certified training course for skateboard coaches.

This training was held under the auspices of Olympic Solidarity, a department of the International Olympic Committee, which, through National Olympic Committees, provides financial support and technical expertise to foster the development of sport, particularly for athletes and coaches.

As part of the international coach education and accreditation system of World Skate, the program aimed to strengthen the capacities of participants and support the emergence of a new generation of qualified coaches in Morocco.

Delivered over four days, the program combined theoretical sessions with practical applications. It covered core coaching principles, pedagogical approaches, safety standards, group management, as well as training session planning. Practical sessions in a skatepark allowed participants to work on the progressive learning of techniques in real conditions.

A total of 21 participants from various cities across the Kingdom took part in the training, reflecting the growing interest in the development of skateboarding and its coaching structure at the national level.

Upon completion of the program, participants who successfully fulfilled all requirements and passed the final assessment were awarded an internationally recognized certification within the CEAS framework.

Through this initiative, the Federation continues its efforts to structure skateboarding in Morocco by strengthening coaching professionalism and aligning with international standards.
