The Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) organised, on 15 and 16 October 2026, a series of Olympic Visitsfor the benefit of more than 750 participants, in collaboration with the Regional Academy of Education and Training of the Souss-Massa region (AREF). This initiative is part of the National Olympic Academy programme.
Held across several schools under the Provincial Directorates of Inezgane-Aït Melloul and Agadir Ida-Outanane, the visits featured six sessions over two days, aimed at raising young people’s awareness of Olympic values and introducing them to the principles of the Olympic Movement.
On Thursday, 15 October, three schools under the Provincial Directorate of Inezgane-Aït Melloul hosted the sessions: Al Imam Al Boukhari 1 Primary School, Al Imam Al Boukhari 2 Primary School and Ibn Battouta Middle School, which also offers a Sports-Study programme.
The programme continued on Friday, 16 October, under the Provincial Directorate of Agadir Ida-Outanane, with visits to Al Hanane Private School, Al Mutanabbi High School and Youssef Ibn Tachfine High School.
Through these meetings, the CNOM continues its awareness-raising initiatives targeting young people and contributes to promoting Olympic culture within schools by highlighting the values of respect, excellence and friendship.
The “Olympic Visits” programme thus reflects the CNOM’s commitment to bringing Olympism closer to younger generations and strengthening their understanding of the Olympic Movement and its values.
