The 40th edition of the Grand Prix Hassan II, an ATP 250 clay-court tournament, concluded on April 5, 2026, at the Royal Tennis Club of Marrakech, confirming its place on the international professional circuit calendar.

In the men’s singles final, Spain’s Rafael JODAR defeated Argentina’s Marco TRUNGELLITI in straight sets (6–3, 6–2), claiming his first ATP Tour title. In the men’s doubles event, the American pair Robert Cash and JJ Tracy won the trophy.

As the only ATP Tour tournament held in Africa, the Grand Prix Hassan II represents a key stage of the clay-court season, awarding 250 ATP ranking points to the winner and attracting an international field each year. Since its relocation to Marrakech in 2016, the tournament has been part of the preparation phase for major European clay-court events.

The award ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Faïçal LARAÏCHI, President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee and the Royal Moroccan Tennis Federation, who presented the trophy to the winner of this edition, the young Spanish talent Rafael JODAR.

On the Moroccan side, national participation was marked by encouraging performances. Reda BENNANI and Taha BAADI reached the round of 16, a first since 2017. Their ability to compete with top 100 players confirms a positive momentum and reflects the ongoing progress of Moroccan tennis on the professional circuit.

Through this 40th edition, the Grand Prix Hassan II reaffirms its role as a showcase for tennis in Morocco and a recognized competitive platform at the international level.
